  • Zebra hides are often perceived as black and white, but in reality they present a warmer, more nuanced palette — typically deep brown to near-black stripes set against a cream, beige, or soft ivory ground. Many feature subtle “shadow stripes,” with faint tonal variations between the primary markings.
