Kwagogo
Rooted in tradition and crafted with quiet reverence, the Kwagogo Chandelier takes its name from the Zulu word kwagogo—“the house of the great-grandparents”—a humble rondavel that symbolizes shelter, continuity, and ancestral wisdom. Its softly domed silhouette echoes this ancestral form, creating a warm, grounding presence within a space.
Hand-beaded using natural Imfibinga seeds (Coix lacryma-jobi), also known as Zulu Teething Beads, the chandelier reveals a richly textured surface and an organic, rhythmic pattern. Sourced from a tall, grain-bearing tropical grass, these natural beads gently diffuse light, casting a subtle, intimate glow that feels both architectural and inviting.
Designed as both sculpture and illumination, the Kwagogo Chandelier celebrates heritage craft and natural materials. All hard-wired lighting is UL-listed for dry locations and is not suitable for outdoor use. Each pendant is supplied with three 8-inch umber grey down rods and an electrical cord.

- Leather swags may need 15-20 minutes of styling to lay flat after transport; light steaming may also be required
